After more than a year of construction, it was officially put into operation after passing acceptance and trial operation in 2012. This is also the first MapGIS based full process supervision platform built in Hainan.

The "Hainan Seismic Fortification Requirements Full Process Supervision Technical Service System" currently in operation demonstrates the powerful power of informatization. This platform supports large capacity databases, with efficient storage and indexing capabilities for massive spatial data, as well as the ability to process TB level spatial data, and can withstand a large number of concurrent user accesses. Specifically, the platform has improved the technical capability and approval efficiency for determining seismic fortification requirements in Hainan, enhanced the scientific and standardized nature of approval, reduced the time required for approval processes, and lowered government management costs and total project costs. At the same time, it provides a more scientific and reasonable basis for the seismic fortification requirements of construction projects, improves the scientificity of seismic fortification in site selection and design stages, and avoids investment waste caused by improper site selection or unreasonable design. This technology support platform can also be widely used in urban planning, engineering construction, urban disaster prevention management and other aspects, and provide strong support for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction work for professionals in engineering design, scientific research and teaching; It has also achieved procedural, standardized, and unified supervision of seismic fortification requirements, improved regulatory efficiency, reduced management costs, saved manpower and material resources invested by project construction units in this work, and ensured the implementation and execution of seismic fortification requirements throughout the project construction process in terms of systems.
