The MapGIS field data collection system starts from the actual needs of field investigations, based on the investigation business itself, and applies GIS technology, modern database technology, visualization technology, and computer network technology to build a field data collection backend management system and a field data collection system mobile end, realizing real-time storage and sharing of investigation data, providing information support for field investigations, and improving the quality and efficiency of field data investigation work; At the same time, it directly collects and stores field survey data, and can be connected with professional mapping tools to assist in the full process informatization transformation from "investigation database construction mapping modeling".

Product Functions
MapGIS Field Data Collection System consists of two subsystems: backend management subsystem and field collection subsystem.
Backend Management Subsystem adopts B/S architecture, with main application scenarios in the early stage of field survey work, where project managers create project information, assign project personnel, determine survey base maps, create field collection forms, and other work to lay the foundation for field survey work.
Field Collection Subsystem is a mobile APP mainly used by field survey personnel of project teams. According to the project information and survey division created by project managers, as well as the created survey form content, they conduct field survey information entry. After the field survey work is completed, survey data statistics and output can be performed, achieving a fully automated workflow for field survey work.

User Management
Web End
Create new users by filling in information such as username, password, name, and organization in the Web backend management system, and assign different roles and related functional permissions to users.
· Support operations such as adding, editing, and deleting users.
· Support user search through keywords.
APP End
Users log in to the APP end with username and password to perform data collection work.
Project Management
Web End
Complete survey project creation by filling in project-related information and designating project leaders.
· Established survey projects are uniformly managed and edited in card form.
· Support adding and deleting field collection project members to optimize project team configuration.
APP End
Field survey personnel select a project from the project list in the APP end to conduct survey work.
Base Map and Layout Map Management
The Web end base map and layout map management module manages the geographic base maps and work layout maps used by the APP collection end.
· Support calling Tianditu, Gaode map online map services, and various MapGIS map services.
· Support uploading MapGIS format point-line-polygon files as field work layout maps, overlaid on geographic base maps as auxiliary reference information display.
APP End
Support layer switching between base maps and layout maps.
Support adjusting layout map transparency.
Form Building
In the Web backend management system, dynamic form building functions are provided. Users can configure data collection forms interactively for different field survey topics using form design controls to meet users' multi-topic data collection needs.
· Provide diversified form design controls such as radio boxes, checkboxes, dropdown boxes, date pickers, etc.
· Support previewing the form display effect on the APP end.
· Support creating form templates, allowing users to apply generic templates to different survey projects, reducing the manual cost of creating forms with the same survey content.
Data Collection
In the APP end data collection system, users conduct data collection and content entry according to project survey form content. The system automatically synchronizes data collection results, achieving an integrated process of automated task distribution, field information collection, collection information organization, and field information output for field survey projects.
· The system supports both online and offline working modes. When using the online working mode, entered information is automatically uploaded to the backend database; when using the offline working mode, the system supports reading cached forms, temporarily storing entered information locally, and uploading to the database after networking, which can support survey work under poor network conditions.
· Support 2D distance and area measurement on maps.
· Support querying already filled data records on the APP end.
Data Export
In the Web backend management system, field collection data can be exported by filtering forms and content.
· Support field filtering, data editing, deletion, and export.
· Support downloading form attachments in image and video formats.
· Support exporting data in Word and Excel formats. Support automatic data filling and survey card format data output by importing survey card templates.
Data Statistics
In the Web backend management system, project managers can browse survey information of all survey projects and display it in various statistical chart formats, including survey routes, form quantities, survey point information, etc.

Support users to cache survey forms created in the Web backend management system to their mobile phones for temporary use when there is no network during field surveys. After data collection is completed, users can manually upload offline saved data to the server when the network is good, avoiding interference with survey work in environments with poor network connectivity.
· Real-time Survey Data Upload and Sharing
When the system is connected to the network, data can be uploaded to the server in real time, achieving real-time upload and sharing of survey data.
