      Currently, GIS applications in the field of meteorology have expanded from traditional two-dimensional to three-dimensional representation, intuitively displaying meteorological results through 3D virtualization, which facilitates communication at all levels and improves the scientific nature of decision-making. The 3D storm volume echo data visualization platform provides intuitive projection display of atmospheric radar detection data, and can model and store specified storm areas. For already built volume models, through the volume display module, the internal structure of the storm volume model can be observed. By cutting the storm model along various axes, the internal characteristics of the storm model can be understood. The platform can perform scene picking queries on the basic information of storm models, and simultaneously provide historical retrospective display of meteorological historical data. It intuitively presents the distribution areas and intensity characteristics of national meteorological storm information, providing a scientific basis for storm disaster control and prevention work.
